[LIVERY] Matthias Kahle 's Skoda Fabia WRC from Rally Deutschland 2006 & Lausitz Rallye 2006

Hello everyone to my blog! As the header suggests this is a place for various skins, other resources and opinions about motorsport. I hope you enjoy my content!

First a big thanks to SRD Sim Racing Design for giving me the .pdf files for the numberplates of Rally Germany! This made much easier to complete the skin, so please give them a follow!

Matthias Kahle is a German rally driver primarly driving Skoda cars and being a 8 time national champion. He spans a carreer from the late 1990s to today driving the odd rallies out with the Rally2 Fabia and old Skodas. He also has driven for VW during when they were taking part in Dakar so his affinity to VAG is quite high. These liveries though are from his '06 rally campaign, one from Rally Germany and the other from Rally Lausitz.

In Germany, Kahle was the top driver in 2005 as the reigning German champion with his Fabia. For 2006 he would look to improve his WRC result of P15 at the 2005 Rally Germany and of course become again champion. At Rally Germany he would show top 15 pace throughout the rally and was climbing up the ranks up to P11! Certainly an improvement from last year but that would end as in SS14 with an engine failure taking him out of the rally and mark the end of Kahle in the WRC.

On the other hand, Kahle would get another title in Germany with 4 wins but that wasn't the case at Lausitz Rallye! In a field that included 3 other WRC cars including Ostberg's S9 Impreza, he would be at the sharp end excluding SS6. There he would end up losing his front right wheel but continuing on to come back to a P8 finish the rally.

The main reason why this livery was chosen is because I own the very rare diecast from Rally Germany and thought it would be awesome to have the car both in the game and in real life as a diecast! As for why Lausitz Rallye was chosen over the rest is because this is his local event and is the one with the most information out there.

In the zip file both skins are included. Open up the one of the you wish to use and drop the folder in the root folder of your RSF plugin installation. It has to be noted that the Lausitz version has Michelin tires, which override the default BFGoodrich tires so do make a backup before replacing! Other than that please enjoy them and have fun!
